Area Description
Bicester is situated approximately 13 miles north of Oxford, close by the Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire borders. In the east of our area lies the River Cherwell and immediately south of Bicester is Otmoor. Bicester is an attractive and historic market town with a fine centre having a wide variety of shops, pubs, societies and amenities. Just outside the town proper is Bicester Retail Outlet Village which has many designer name shops.

Communications
Bicester Town railway station gives services direct to Oxford whilst Bicester North gives services direct to Waterloo in just over an hour. Junctions 9 and 10 of the M40 are both close at hand with easy access also to the A34, A41, A421 and the A43.
