Area Description:
Oxford is world famous for its University and has a long and illustrious heritage. However, Oxford is also renowned for its teaching hospitals and supports a large business community due to its strategic location in the centre of southern England and only 55 miles from London.

The River Thames or Isis runs through this small city and there are many public parks and green spaces, including University Parks and Port Meadow. Oxford offers all the amenities of a cosmopolitan city including theatres, museums, music, dining and lively city centre entertainment. There is a fast rail link to London Paddington and access via the A34 to the M40 and M4.
