Questions to ask when viewing a property to rent

Home / News stories / Questions to ask when viewing a property to rent

It pays to be prepared when you’re viewing a rental property says Zoopla. Arrive at each one armed with a list of questions, and you’ll be well on your way to knowing if it’s ‘the one’. Make sure you keep track of the answers too, so you don’t forget which home is which. Take notes on your phone or jot them down on your notepad.

  • Get the lowdown on bills, including which you’ll be responsible for, if you’re allowed to switch and what EPC rating is
  • Check who your point of contact will be and what you should do if you have any issues
  • Ask about the furniture and decoration, as some landlords will give you more of a licence to get creative

But that’s not all! Read the main questions to ask at you next rental viewing here https://www.zoopla.co.uk/discover/renting/questions-to-ask-letting-agents-on-a-property-viewing/
